Tunisia Palace Hotel, Tunis

I felt like I was living in an Agatha Christie novel at this hotel: it had a charming old-world vibe. The room was spacious, complete with a big desk, chair, table with an armchair, minibar, and TV. However, the room was notably small and outdated, lacking electrical outlets for charging devices.

The hotel offers spacious rooms that are freshly painted with nice new doors and bathroom tiles, and decent furniture. It was peaceful, which was great after just flying into Tunis. While the cleanliness was good, it didn't entirely meet European hotel standards. Don't expect the level of international service you would find in a 4-star hotel.
